Make Your Own: Salted Egg Chips in under 5 mins

Egg-cellent for preparing last-minute snacks

This sinfully egg-cellent snack costs roughly $16 per bottle in shops like Irvins Salted Egg.

Here’s an easy and quick recipe, which will take you less than 5 minutes, and costs you less than half the price!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of curry leaves
  • 1 bag of chips
  • 100g of butter
  • 8 salted egg yolks

Step 1

Wash 1 cup of curry leaves

Step 2

Fry the leaves on low heat for about half a minute to dry them

Step 3

Melt the butter

Step 4

Mix the salted duck eggs in

Step 5

Throw in the chips & stir-fry till every chip is coated 

Step 6

Eat

* You can add in some chili powder/flakes for a touch of spice!
